It is with great regret that Great Notley Parish Council has decided to cancel any Remembrance Day event this November 2020. In view of the fact that Essex is now Tier 2 high risk for Corona virus and the requirements of Government guidance to host such an event it is not felt possible to hold such an event this year.
However, the flags will be displayed as usual as a mark of respect. In addition, if anyone wishes to attend the Hospital Memorial at White Court to lay a wreath, poppy or cross or for any other act of personal remembrance they may do so at a time of their choice and on the strict proviso that they observe social distancing from others who are not in their household.
