The Vaccine
The Government is advising that as well as the first two doses of Covid vaccine, everyone over the age of 18 should receive a booser dose provided it is 3 months since the last dose of the vaccine. Essex County Council has provided a Vaccine Boosters Q&A Leaflet with more information about the booster vaccine
To book your vaccine or to find local walk in centres please either dial 119 or look on the NHS website. Due to the amount of demand it is advisable to make a booking. If you are housebound you should please contact your GP for advice on how you may receive your vaccine.
If you are struggling to get to your vaccine appointment, the Essex Wellbeing Service can organise a taxi to get you there.
This will be free of charge as long as you can show a booking reference or a screenshot confirming your appointment.
