Essex County Council has advised that to facilitate the connection of the Horizon 120 development onto the gas main part of footpath 26 will be temporarily closed. The legal order can be seen below together with a map. The order will come into effect as from 22nd March 2021 and will stay in effect until 30th April 2021. The order does allow the closure to remain in effect for 6 months or until the work has been completed which may mean a later date logistics permitting.
