The Church of Great Notley is a purpose built church at Bridge End Lane, Great Notley, CM77 7GN.
The Church is an ecumenical partnership between the Church of England, the Baptist Union, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church in association with the Roman Catholic Church. It welcomes everyone at its Sunday service which takes place each Sunday at 11am. Each week a different denomination will lead the service.
The Church was formed in 1998 and initially met in a portacabin in the public house car park! In 2002 the services moved to the community centre. In 2009 after much effort sufficient funds had been raised to construct a purpose built church for the community on land that had been set aside in the village development plan. The first act of worship was celebrated in the new Church on 22nd August 2010.
As well as being used for worship the Church is also used by various community groups and rooms are also available for hire.
