Community Centre

The Community Centre is situated on Notley Green behind the public house.   It was opened by her Royal Highness the Princess Royal in 1995.  Although the building is owned by Braintree District Council it is run by the Notley Green Community Association which is a registered charity.

The building was designed to reflect local features for example the decorative 'leaf' roof ridge reflects the work of the local botanist John Ray.

The Community Centre has a large main hall and two smaller halls plus kitchen facilities.  There is also a car park.

The hall and rooms are used to host many community activities.  Ducklings pre-school are also based here.  In addition the halls may be hired by the general public.

For more information about the community centre you may visit their website www.ngca.org.uk

Alternatively you may ring the office on 01376 348449.  It is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9.15 and 11.15 and otherwise has an answerphone.
