The Great Notley Times is the Parish magazine for the Parish of Great Notley. Its purpose is to communicate information to residents in relation to Parish Council activities and also information from the various community groups and from other public sector bodies which may be of interest and assistance to residents. It has been in its current format for some time now and the Parish Council has been undertaking a review of all aspects of the publication.
A survey was carried out both online and with an article in the October 2020 issue of the magazine to seek the views of residents and the results can be seen below. In addition a variety of opinions have been received as to how best to distribute the publication to make sure all residents can be kept informed.
The magazine is published on this website and also circulated by way of a contract with Royal Mail to all houses in the CM77 7 postcode.
The magazine has traditionally been circulated on a quarterly basis however the Parish Council has decided that in future there will be 3 issues during each year.
The Parish Council is currently advertising the contract for the provision of the magazine and once that contract has been awarded Councillors will further consider with the contractor the preferred way forward with the magazine.
